Teodora

Violinist Teodora is regarded as one of the UK’s finest classical and electric violinists. It is easy to see why Teodora is in high demand for events and weddings throughout the UK. With her distinctive look and passion for music she is always greatly received by her audience and has many repeat bookings.

Originally from Bulgaria, Teodora relocated to Britain at age eleven after she won a full music scholarship to the prestigious Wells Cathedral School in Somerset. As a specialist musician, she excelled at the violin and went on to win the prestigious Concerto Competition. Teodora then continued her education achieving a Bmus Degree at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, studying under respected teachers Catherine Lord and Professor Yfrah Neaman.

 

Since that time Teodora has performed across the world as part of the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra and she was also leader of the Wells Cathedral Symphony Orchestra.

 

Teodora has performed in many prestigious venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, St John’s Smith Square and St James’ Palace and her many high profile clients include celebrities and even Royalty. Hightlights include performances for HRH Prince of Wales, HRH Duke of Edinburgh, Stephen Fry and Vivienne Westwood.

 

Teodora has collaborated with many of music’s biggest names. She has collaborated with Nicolette from Massive Attack and tenor singer Alfie Bow and also performed on TV including ‘Children in Need’, appeared with Matt Cardel on ‘X Factor’. Most recently Teodora supported Emile Sande’s special concert for the Princes’ Trust in the Royal Albert Hall.

 

 

Teodora’s repertoire features songs from various musical genres including classical, tango, ragtime, film and TV, jazz and pop.
