Kara began having classical singing tuition at a very young age. Her first lead in a professional production was in 1999 as the title role in Annie at just eleven years old.
Kara later trained as an actress and musical theatre performer at the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. In recent years she has performed in some of the most prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall for The Night of 1000 Stars concert, where she performed as a soloist, and Wembley Stadium, where she performed the National Anthem to thousands in the crowd and many more on Sky television.
She recently worked with award-winning composers Daniel and Laura Curtis on the beautiful song ‘Now’ which she also performed live at The Royal Albert Hall for a concert of their work, along with many West End stars.
Kara made her West End Debut starring as the title role in The Mystery of Edwin Drood at the Arts Theatre and she recently had another title role as Sephi/Persephone in Persephone (a love story) at The Rosemary Branch Theatre alongside Olivier Award winning actor, David Bedella.
For the last 2 years, she has been predominantly performing with her band, Zyrah Rose, and has had several song releases reach the top of the classical charts, as well as getting the chance to perform at Wembley Arena to 10,000 people. She was most recently seen on Britain’s Got Talent as part of the same group.
